Dorofej is a cat with a friendly, slightly shy and gentle nature. Once if he knows you, he is affectionate and will often come along for a 'cuddles'. Almost everything is okey for him. Dorofej is an playful cat who knows themselves well entertained with toys. He is has a heavy muscular male. We hope he will give beautiful kittens with his body build.

He lives in a homely atmosphere. He won't live in a cage or separate room. In first place he is our buddy and friend. And beside that, of course we hope that he gives us some beautiful and healthy kittens.

Dorofej has some lines in the pedigree just behind him wich aren't common in the countries in this area. This means that he can bring in new blood. That can be, looking to the limited number of suitable male cats, very valuable to the breed. In addition, Dorofej has the world famous and in Russia very popular Assolada line in his pedigree. Dorofej is a cat with a pedigree that is build on practically only Neva Masquerade cats. These are all bred in Russia. So in Russia they have build on his according the Russian standard. And that's certainly succeeded!

Because he is from completely different lines (targeting only neva lines) then our Siberian cats, he is for gene reinforcement a very interesting combination with our cats. Dorofej has been genetically tested for PKD and he will be tested for HCM. When we observe the line where he comes from, we expect that HCM won't be a problem.
The healthy from his line, his firm body shape and his character.. All in all, enough reasons to bring him from Hungary to us!

Stud service will be limited and not used in conjunction with related Assolade lines. We let him mate only with females cats who will be tested sufficiently frequent to relevant genetic disorders and diseases. This could include HCM, PKD, FeLV and FIV. And only those catteries which have a cat friendly attitude and a breeding program focusing on health and character.
